We want to share with you an opportunity to call out and honor Combat Female Veterans in your midst by nominating them to be recognized as a 2023 Outstanding Combat Female Veteran of North Carolina.
We seek to identify female Veterans who honorably served their country during a time of conflict and have since made demonstrable, positive impacts within their North Carolina communities.We are especially interested in identifying women warriors who have dedicated themselves, post-war, to enhancing the well-being of fellow NC Veterans!
CFVF United will be accepting nominations between September 1st, 2022 and November 1st, 2022. Both self-nominations and “in memoriam” nominations are welcome. Chosen award recipients will be personally notified on or about December 15th, 2022. Chosen award recipients will be honored, May 2023, additional information TBA. Combat Female Veterans Families (CFVF) United is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded and chiefly operated by Combat Female Veterans of North Carolina. Our mission is to provide transition services to Combat Female Veterans and their families, supporting life after war. In brief, our primary objectives are:
To support the voices of Combat Female Veterans and their families – at the local, state, and national levels To address the unique and multi-layered post-deployment obstacles they face as military females To connect each of them with the vital resources and support structures necessary to ensure their healthy returns to the civilian world.
