Who we are

American Heroes for North Carolina promotes the interests of former members of the US Armed Services who served their country honorably, whose family members sacrificed their time and treasure to make it possible for their family to serve and to protect America’s freedoms, and who now seek to fulfill their goals to become productive citizens and community leaders.

Our vision is to make the Piedmont Triad, North Carolina including Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point and surrounding areas a more welcoming place for US military veterans.

We help Veterans get engaged in our community by connecting them with our Employer Partners who know the value of hiring Veterans and they provide Veteran-friendly policies and practices.

They Served Us, Now It's Our Turn

Our Veterans put everything on the line to protect our freedom. We may never be able to repay them for their sacrifice, but we can show them just how much we appreciate everything they’ve done for us.

Veterans are ready to

continue their service

We believe ALL Veterans return to civilian life with the desire to serve their nation, to be leaders in their communities, and to make a valuable contribution to society.

We assist in helping employers and Veterans to accomplish seamless integrations into the North Carolina and local area workforce, our educational system and community life.
