Our goals is to help you become an established member of society, as well as, assist with your integration into the Triad community. Be a Mentor
American Heroes for North Carolina has established multiple formal relationships with organizations across the Triad. Our goal with these organizations is to establish a mentorship program where we identify one senior veteran to connect with one student veteran. This program will help both parties network within the community, understand how to look for a job, how to find a job, etc. In addition, these volunteers will receive the opportunity to assist with community projects: reading to students, setting up activities for kids, etc.
Overall, mentorship has extremely rewarding potential. The program will benefit the community as veterans volunteer their time, and it will benefit the veteran as it gives them the opportunity to give back to their community.
