The 3rd Annual American Heroes For North Carolina Veteran’s Recognition and Awards Event will be held November 7, 2019 starting at 5:30 PM at the Carolina Theatre in Greensboro, NC.
During this event, the American Heroes for North Carolina, their sponsors and local communities members will have the privilege of honoring Veterans who have returned to North Carolina and who have contributed greatly to the Triad community. Help support us as we present three awards to deserving veterans that have been nominated and selected as best exemplifying the courage and commitment of our American Service men and women.
The event will be hosted at the historic Carolina Theatre at 310 S. Greene Street in Greensboro, NC. Catering will be provided by Pepper Moon Catering. Tickets are $40 (plus fees and sales tax).

This year’s event will be emceed again by WFMY News 2 Good Morning Show anchor, Meghann Moellerus. An event Social will begin at 5:30 PM and the Recognition and Awards Program will begin at 6:30 PM. Download our Event Flyer for more details.

Tickets to this year’s event are $40 plus fees and sales tax. Tickets can be purchased the Carolina Theatre’s website, by calling the Carolina Theatre Box Office at (336) 333-2605 (Monday through Friday from noon until 5PM) or by visiting the Carolina Theatre in person at 310 S. Greene Street in Greensboro, NC.

Awards given during this event will include:
The Patriot Award
The Patriot Award will presented to an individual who served in the military with honor and distinction and who has made significant contributions in our community. This award is a lifetime achievement award to an individual who has influenced or led a successful business and who has greatly impacted our community, state, or nation.
The Liberty Award
The Liberty Award will be presented to a veteran-friendly company that has greatly impacted our community and with a history of at least 20 years in business. The company must show a proven success record, display veteran-friendly hiring practices, and must have a veteran who served with honor as a key leader of the organization.
The Freedom Award
Presented to an entrepreneurial company, led by a veteran who served in the military with honor. The company will have existed for at least four (4) years and operated successfully in the Triad.
